Imagine you are on a medical team in Haiti when you examine the 4-year-old, you discover he is indeed seriously ill. In fact, he is dying. What started out as vomiting and diarrhea has now turned into serious dehydration and shock. You work as fast as you can to provide the best care possible, although realizing it is far from the advantages of the pediatric intensive care unit back in the United States. You gather some of the team around you and pray with the parents for the child. God intervenes, and the boy walks out of the clinic with his parents that evening in good health.

Imagine you are in another village, during your last day of clinic. You are surprised when the patient in front of you is someone you saw two days ago. You ask her why she has returned to the clinic only to find yourself amazed at her reply. “I want to have Jesus as my Savior”, she states. She said the care and medicines you gave her helped her feel better, and that maybe what we said about Jesus being able to help her with her sin was also true! As these stories illustrate, we continue to watch the Lord perform great physical and spiritual miracles in Haiti through our opportunity to serve in medicine.
Aid for Haiti Remote medical ministry exists to reach out into the most untouched and needy areas in Haiti. Through contacts in the local church we have developed a network of unreached areas we minister to regularly. We strive to bring high quality medical care into areas most other organizations refuse to go in an effort to minister to those who would otherwise never see care in their lifetime.
Would you, your group or church like to help us in reaching Haiti? Please pray about how God could use you to help effect these needy, remote people throughout Haiti. There are opportunities to sponsor remote medical clinics and help build remote clinics. In addition, there are opportunities to help directly work in medical clinics.
